This wedding was one of those that came to me right at the best time. Wedding photography is hard. You hold weekends off sometimes 6 months, 9 months, a year, or MORE - and you commit, even when other things you'd love to do like your own friends and families weddings or events or anything else, come up! I had a crazy year the year that they booked, and a brief period of feeling like it was too much. I'm sure you all can relate! But their wedding plans for a Zoo wedding and how sweet they were reminded me how FUN and unique my job is and how absolutely awesome it is that I've come this far and get to do so many cool weddings and meet so many great people. We had a peacock walk right through the ceremony site, photos feeding a tiger, full walk of the Point Defiance Zoo, and and got to take photos on the carousel!
